  1. 5 out of 5

I wear their Level III+ plates daily, weighing 2.5 pounds per plate they are much lighter than any other I’ve owned. Secondly I was able to torture test this plate to see first hand its capabilities at my department.

We started off with running a custom .308 bolt gun at 150 yards with Federal Premium 168 grain Matchking BTHP ammo. The plate stopped the round dead center with minimal backface deformation.
We then went in at 15 yards with an M16. I went 3 shot bursts running Hornady 55 gr. TAP FPD ammo. The plate took 12 rds spread out again stopping all. Finally, we ran my Sig MPX 9mm with Speer Gold Dot 124 gr.

  2. 5 out of 5

I currently have a set of level III+ plates from DFNDR. I use them now daily for work, and I previously had steel plates I carried everyday. DFNDR is a night and day difference from my previous steel plates. The weight and comfort of the DFNDR plates allow me to move easier, faster and I’ve noticed much less back pain as well. This armor is extremely comfortable and I highly recommend it to anyone, its worth it!
